Currently, Software Developer is one of the most sought-after professions with demand continuing to grow each year. Software Developers earn a high median salary, have a very low unemployment rate, and high career satisfaction. How do you attain the skills needed to get into this industry? It is hard work, but there are many paths to reach this goal. In this talk, I will go through my own experience of becoming a Software Developer as well as what I look for in a candidate as a hiring manager for Software Development.
